Symposium 2010, Insight & Opportunities: Human Resources in Education, is scheduled for November 4-5, 2010 at the Coast Plaza Hotel and Suites, 1763 Comox Street, Vancouver, BC.
Registration
An Early Bird Registration fee of $325 is available until September 1, 2010. The regular registration fee of $360 will apply after September 1, 2010. Registrations will be accepted until October 21, 2010.
Travel and Accommodation
A block of rooms is being held at the Coast Plaza Hotel & Suites at a special early bird rate of $89 per night, single rate (plus taxes) for reservations booked prior to September 1, 2010. For reservations made after September 1, 2010 the special rate $99 per night, single rate.
Delegates are required to make their own reservations and arrange payment directly with the hotel. When calling the hotel (tel: 1.800.663.1144 ), delegates must request the reservations department and indicate they are attending the "BCPSEA Symposium", to ensure they receive the special conference rate. The block of rooms will only be held until October 1, 2010 and reservations are based on space availability .
Conference Materials
We are taking an environmentally-conscious and technologically forward approach to this conference. Delegates will therefore not be receiving a hard copy binder of materials. The conference materials will be posted online for your convenience to be reviewed and downloaded in advance. A notice will be sent to registered delegates in October to advise when the material is available online.
In addition, for those delegates wishing to bring a laptop to the conference, wireless internet will be available. Delegates may also wish to download the materials onto your desktop in advance of attending the Symposium.
