The Employment Data and Analysis System (EDAS) collects human resource information about employees working in public education. This was a joint initiative between BC Public School Employers’ Association (BCPSEA) and the Ministry of Education to improve the accessibility and the quality of employment data.

Who uses EDAS?

The information collected and organized by EDAS can be used and is available to anyone who is looking for human resource information about BC's public school education sector. EDAS streamlines existing Ministry data collection forms, reduces duplication of requests, and automates the data extraction and transfer process. The information is used by the school districts, BCPSEA and the Ministry of Education for collective bargaining and various policy initiatives.
